INTJ, Atheist, & a Grandfather twice over. Facts Excite Me! Was putting the "gen" in future Generals & doing a bad job of it, till they retired me! Love tanks!
It’s a modern day Indian thing…
When I speak uncomfortable truths, some respond with personal attacks - ‘one-hit wonder’, ‘has-been’, ‘expired product’. The most bizarre? ‘You’re a Pakistani’ or ‘a Muslim’. When people can’t counter ideas, why do their insecurities hijack their logic? Strange.
The uncle jis now handling government in Haryana don’t see garbage on the roads as a poll issue. Culturally they are pretty inured to such sights.
Another wonderful environment and animal friendly spot has come up on the Golf Course Extension Road, Gurugram. It has taken few months to develop this into a great place for our garbage disposal and feeding animals. Now no need of segregation of household kachra, just dump it…
Why do those, whose sole job is to look at protecting the nation, sell their souls at the fag end of their careers, sacrificing national interest for sinecures that may or may not come their way from a cynical government that is happy to dangle such carrots for it’s own purposes.
You’ve got to be a real poor reader of body language (and partially oblivious to people around you) to blindly grope for others’ hands when they’ve done greeting you physically and want personal space to be gracefully respected. Not respecting personal space is gross.
That’s it? A lack of “foreign trips” upset an Indian VP? Not happy to hold the second highest constitutional office in Bharat!

From the ridiculous to the absurd, every action is spun as a master stroke and we are supposed to publicly acknowledge that we’ve taken complete leave of our senses and applaud this vaudeville.
This tamasha has worn so thin by now that it can see through itself…
#WATCH | London, UK | On PM Modi's visit, Preena, a member of the Indian Diaspora, says, "... I am so excited to see PM Modi. My family and I are huge fans of PM Modi. He has done so much for India's progress... He made India a Vishwaguru. He made India very powerful on the world…
The Army works 24/7, so there’s no question of any overtime…

They do such nonsense on purpose, ably aided by a thuggish government machinery.
A rainy day in Delhi, terrible traffic! Was stuck in an endless jam only to realise it was being caused by a Kawariya truck with booming music coming up the road the wrong way! #Delhi #traffic
Different from the snarly ones featured these days.
The moment when the famed Ashokan lion capital was rediscovered.
Shoddiness is not a flaw, it is a sarkari work philosophy honed by crafty babus in their shabby offices and illegible files (now given a shiny makeover through digital hoops and traps).
Dem Kanwars are good sprinters it seems…
Amid loud music and noise, an elephant went berserk and attacked several vehicles at a Kanwar bhandara in Dehradun.
TBH I do not find him an exciting player.
Biding his time. After six pars, Scottie has an eagle in round three.
3 days and all within India😊
You can drive 14 hours without leaving Germany
Shouldn’t the net score mentioned on the card be 57?🤔
The course has since changed and Shane Lowry now holds the "new" course record with his 63 at the 2019 Open. However, Rory's 61 is still beloved here. Many believe it to be one greatest rounds of golf ever played. What do you think? Thanks for reading. - END -
I'm an Indian. I love my country, and I love to travel. But lately, I've started feeling a sense of dread and second-hand embarrassment when I see a large group of my countrymen at a tourist spot. And I'm sick of it. This isn't about culture. Spreading out a meal on an airport…
Well done @janniksin the new #Wimbledon gentlemen’s champion.
The most one sided #Wimbledon Ladies Singles Finals in a Century apparently.
