Mario Odyssey isn't a bad game by any means (I still like replaying it even if the replayability is not that good) I just think they kinda dropped the ball by playing it too safe and scrapping most of the interesting concepts

I mean imma be real most of the NPCs in odyssey are forgettable to me. It's like they had a lot going on in the concept art but played it safe, which kinda makes me look at the art book on occasion and think how better it would be if they stuck with most concepts

It mostly depends on if the future seer's future changes depending on current decisions, otherwise the mind reader would lose. The mind reader can see all the moves but the future seer literally knows the outcome
