Hidden beneath the Clifton Suspension Bridge are vaults that are rarely seen. The Bridge Museum contains never before seen artefacts.

Brunel's Great Eastern was used in the laying of the first transatlantic telegraph lines! Completed in the summer of 1864, Queen Victoria sent the first message, congratulating President James Buchanan on their joint success. Though it didn't last - the cable broke 2 weeks later.
