Struggling #Catholic thinker. Thee/Thou
Great video by Brian with some very deep insights into our post fall humanity. Good breakdown!

This is why good Catholics don't want to work for the Church. New bishops come and go and you'll eventually end up working for a bad one and have your whole life derailed. I've seen it over and over again.
Wow. Ralph Martin got canned? complicitclergy.com/2025/07/23/bre…
Israel kills three Catholic civilians in a church, but the pope is the one causing harm to Catholic Jewish relations because he isn't giving Israel a pass for it. Insane.
Did the IDF "attack" the church or hit it by accident? The distinction matters and the fact that Pope Leo XIV chose to imply a deliberate act is deeply regrettable. It will give cover to the terrorists still holding Israeli hostages and open old wounds between the Church & Jews.
Thank you for the gracious offer Tim. It is appreciated. At least for now, we don't need financial assistance so we'd like to hold off on any fundraisers. The biggest way people can help is by sharing this prayer request to Ven. Al Schwartz. And just prayers in general. Thanks!
No one "slandered" you or "twisted" what you said, @JoelWBerry. Your comments were ignorant and bigoted, and now you're getting the rebukes you deserve. And spare us the fake and evasive 'brotherly love' rhetoric. How about owning up to your mistake gracefully. If you can't do…
The commodification of provocation through religion as a consumer marketing gimmick has to be one of the most heinous symptoms of social media. Lord have mercy on us.
Imagine believing Jesus didn't have biological siblings.
Couldn’t have said it better.

"Families" is the operative word here. Baby mamas are not the answer.
Either Europe starts having large families or it will keep dying
I sympathize with these kinds of reactions right now. Ideally, qualified, accountable people, who have publicly taken vows, are best for apostolic work. But, the Church has suffered such a deficit of the ideal for so long, that lay people, like myself, have filled in.
Honestly, the Catholic Church needs to return to having their Catholic Apologists be Priests and Bishops. NO MORE LAY APOLOGISTS
There was a time when literal bombs weren't enough to interrupt the mass, but today, we interrupt it for all kinds of trivialities. youtube.com/watch?v=R2rJh4…

This is what happens when educated elites try to access that part of their brains where folksy common sense resides.
in the keynote at @eu_are yesterday, I heard once again the brilliant definition of the difference between religion in Europe and in the USA: religion in Europe is lasagna (made of layers), in the USA is a cake (made of slices).
