Some festivals dropped Baillie Gifford in the face of threats to boycott and disrupt events. Baillie Gifford is still working with festivals and arts organisations that refused to drop the company.
Our work has made an impact: - Nicola Sturgeon pulled out of a Steve Bannon event after our story - Greta Thunberg boycotted Edinburgh’s book festival over oil-linked sponsors. Baillie Gifford then dropped festival deals - Scotland ruled out fracking after we exposed its risks
