2) I replaced Frank in Atlanta Hawks with Hubie Brown, HC & Mike Fratello as the other Assistant. He turned the Jazz into an Elite Franchise. He made U feel good, smile & laugh. He will be missed & he left a true Legacy! RIP

1) The NBA and the World lost a great person with the passing of Frank Layden. Mike Fratello and I would drive from NJ to Niagara U to work as Counselors at his BB Camp for 2 weeks each Summer. I replaced Coach when he became GM of the Utah Jazz.

Congrats to HOF’er Don Nelson presented tonight with the Chuck Daly Lifetime Achievement Award by the NBCA. Chuck loved Nellie and we used to have great battles against his Teams! He was one of the most innovative Coaches ever in the NBA.

I love “water cooler” talks about WHY a Team wins or loses…Pacers win down by 9 points in last 2 minutes-NBA history shows that Teams are 0-182 in that situation.
