Whether you agree with clipping a Bird's wings or not, this is not clipping. This is hacking. Pure ignorance and abuse.
The situation is so dire. We, like every other rescue simply have no capacity to take in surrenders anymore. Yet they keep being bred and sold.

Toulouse is 22. He was surrendered due to his owner's poor health. He also had an untreated leg injury and a leg ring that was too tight. When he arrived, his feathers were tatty, and he was almost completely plucked naked. I think he like it here ☺️

These 3 were always called the monsters as it was near impossible to feed them, they would tag team and "attack" from all corners. They are an example of good pet care. Their owner actually ensured these birds are in her will and cared for when she was no longer with us.
Boxes are probably one of the favorite toys enjoyed by all the birds. The cleaning staff dont enjoy it quite as much 🤪
