This guy is a top 5% pistol shooter. What he did was use objective standards to determine which pistol he shot better, despite liking certain attributes of the other pistol including grip texture. Too many people rely on subjective standards like grip feel to form an opinion.
I'm outside my hotel lobby in Bakersfield, California, and there was an armed security guard. I asked him what type of Glock he had. He said "A Glock 38". I said I don't know which one that is? He said it's the 45 GAP one. I had found him, boys. The guy that bought a G38.
Bakersfield California is more Texan than Austin Texas. Will not explain.
Bringing an old ironsight pistol back to life. I haven't shot this G19 in 7 years. I always liked the retro '70s look of the Arc Division slides, and since they come with an RMR cut, figured I'd have to get the newest version of the RMR. Stippling by Cold Bore Customs.

I was at a class and this boomer had a Nighthawk, said he was an architect, really appreciated craftsmanship and his previous CCW was a HK P7M8. Half the time when he'd shoot the magazine would fall out. He got so frustrated he eventually stormed off the range and left.

I was in a vehicle tactics course a long time ago and the instructors would start you off in the driver's seat, exit the vehicle, and move to the rear and shoot some steel targets. Dude uses his gun hand, with his pistol in his hand, to unbuckle the seat belt, flagging the…
Hwansik Kim, a USPSA Grand Master and one of the best in the country was sponsored by Walther for years and has 150,000 rounds through a single PDP. But now he's a free agent and rates the PDP an 8 and the Glock 47 a 9.5. I'm shocked. youtube.com/watch?v=qGL7wA…
The Department Of Education reported 235 school shootings for the 2015-2016 school year. But NPR spent 3 months investigating, and could only confirm 11. My favorite part of the article; what passes as a school shooting. npr.org/sections/ed/20…

Glock grip angle strikes again! Except the Glock grip angle would cause the fired rounds to impact higher, not lower. We all know why the rounds were impacting lower, and it wasn't because of the grip angle.
This may not mean much to you, but I carried a Glock 19 gen 4 professionally for about 6 years. During that time I was never able to train my hand for the Glock grip angle. No matter how much I trained, my point of aim was always slightly lower than intended on a quick draw. I…

Funniest Shane Gillis joke from the ESPYs was about Caitlin Clark: "She and I have a lot in common. We're both whites from the Midwest who have nailed a bunch of 3s."

American fighter jets went to intercept a stolen Cessna at Vancouver International Airport this week. Why not Canadian fighter jets? Because their jets are 40 years old and the Canadian military exists largely in name only. Lots of wealthy countries rely on the US military.
They don't mess around when it comes to speeding tickets in the UK. Emma Watson is banned from driving for 6 months because she was going 38 in a 30 zone. PS Emma Watson is now 35?!?!? bbc.com/news/articles/…
I never heard of this movie before, but The Bandit + Stringfellow Hawke blowing stuff up in a Ford Thunderbird? I'm all in. Forget new movies, find old movies.
Jan-Michael Vincent was born on this day in 1944. Hooper (1978) This Burt Reynolds starrer is one of my absolute favourite movies about movies. The incredible earthquake finale was nicknamed 'Damnation Alley' by the crew, after Vincent's previous movie.
