Like what part of belly is in her delusional era in book 3 do these ppl not understand. It’s literally a coping mechanism.
im so tired of the complaints like we knew this was gonna happen. the beginning of this season is supposed to feel off and different because that’s what it feels like to most of the characters. it’s really about to go up from here for bellyconrads. be calm.
we saw the light go out in belly’s eyes when conrad responded “we did” when she said she thought they loved each other. And people are wondering why she shuts down every time he’s mentioned

like it genuinely blows my mind that some of y’all can’t understand that belly is CONVINCING herself that jeremiah is the one she wants to be with. It was even written into the script of the show that she’s convincing herself.
there’s no way yall read book 3 and thought belly was gonna be acting like a sane person in season 3 😂
Um Belly literally made a promise to herself in s2 to bury everything she’s feeling for Conrad bc it’s so overwhelmingly strong and it’s hard for her to control her actions…. Are we just forgetting that?
