I love the song ‘The Impossible Dream’ from the musical ‘The Man of La Mancha’ it is such a beautiful heartfelt song.
Looks interesting
F. W. Murnau's The Last Laugh (1924) is one of the purest examples of silent cinema, using only a single title card and telling its story almost entirely through visuals
Third Doctor: “A straight line may be the shortest distance between two points, but it is by no means the most interesting” Robert Holmes
I hope that you sleep peacefully, and that you have adventures in that far off land of nod, where dreams play out amongst the stars. By me 🌙
CHILDREN OF THE STONES (1977): HTV's folk horror masterpiece for children, and one of the cornerstones of the entire genre. Here's the opening moments of episode one, complete with a spooky villager and some frankly orgasmic wailing...
I always liked the novel ‘The Children of Green Knowe’ along with the BBC TV adaptation and I never forgot ‘Green Noah’ the evil tree. Lucy M. Boston wrote so many great books in this series. The film ‘From Time to Time’ is also based on her novel ‘The Chimneys of Green Knowe’

Well, what can I say? A morning like no other up on Penistone Hill with the "Massed Wuther", 500 Kate Bushes dancing to Wuthering Heights in celebration of Kate's & Emily Brontë's shared birthday on 30th July. It was also held to raise awareness of the proposed destruction of…
‘A book, too, can be a star, a living fire to lighten the darkness, leading out into the expanding universe.’ Madeleine L’Engle
I really do think that ‘Tiddlywinks’ should be an Olympic sport, I would be excellent at this.
Animal Kwackers was quite scary from memory 😆 I don’t think it was meant to be! ‘Rory Rory tell me a story!’ 🎵
Comprising session musicians, members of prog band Principal Edwards, and record producer Peter Eden (who managed Donovan), Britain's answer to Banana Splits, ANIMAL KWACKERS, was a real fever dream.
I admire Gwen Taylor's acting skills. She's very real, especially in 'A Bit of a Do' I always felt for her character when she went through the problems she had. Still a great programme and Stephanie Cole is wonderful too.
TV Classic 😀🎵 ‘Going For Gold’ composed by Hans Zimmer.
He's one of the most acclaimed movie composers ever, but did you know HANS ZIMMER wrote the theme tune for the quiz show Going For Gold back in the 1980s.
“You idiots! These are not them! You've captured their stunt doubles!” Spaceballs
Even if it is a very tiny act of goodness and you think no one notices. One little act of kindness can ripple out in countless ways that you many never know.
The Wizard of Oz - Scarecrow Dance (Deleted Scene) Can't believe this film's nearly 90 years old! Timeless. This deleted scene wasn't included in the film as it was considered "too long". Shame really, I think it fit nicely.
There’s a massive foot at Flint! Just thought you’d like to know that 😁
