Imo they are both as bad as each other, not even Whedon could save it. The second release just has the added pain of being longer and a worse aspect ratio finish, so drops a point.

I mean I can see it, I think s good chunk of DC fans would be pretty happy to see him back, especially since Josstice League has become much more accepted within the DC Fandom nowadays Also Whedon is the Antichrist to Snyder fans, so I can see DC fans cheering this on as a "F U"

This is how I expect Joss Whedon to return. He’s friends with Gunn, he’s friends with Goddard, he’s friends with a bunch of people involved. I think he’ll write a DCU movie at first and then write/direct another after.
