I screen-recorded around 4hrs of my painting process. I barely record my art process anymore for good reason. The bigger my PSD gets the more often Photoshop freezes and sometimes even crashes while the recorder is running. Losing time and progress like this is so frustrating.

I started working on part 4 of my series💪

My large art prints arrived!!! They're so beautiful 😭❤️‍🔥Now I'm only waiting for my three remaining frames to arrive and then I'm ready for the exhibition next week.

Both my parents said that his pauldron looks like another hand at first glance. I decided to fix it. If they see it then others may too. I won't repost the whole thing here but I just did on my IG. My post only had 20 likes after one day to begin with so it's no loss~

Projects like this are a life hack. I'm oftentimes motivated to paint but can't come up with another idea. So here I can turn one idea into five paintings. My next exhibition is in August and I can't finish the series by then but I'm still considering displaying these three....

Details~ I'm so used to painting him in "dark mode" so this was fun for a change. I'm excited to see his next look for the new album 👀

Sooo Ruki's live is exactly one day before the 10th anniversary of Dogma. I won't attend the concert but I'm begging for Dogma to be on the setlist anyway🥹 Also MALUM...I've never seen this song on any setlist ever. I love the catchy drums so much.

Today's the fifth session on my Dogma-inspired tattoo sleeve. My final session is tomorrow. Which means that I'm going to go home on Thursday with a finished sleeve 😭😭🎉

Update🌿

It seems I totally underestimated the amount of time I spend on an artwork...I've been working on my new painting consistently over the past three days and it's been at least 16 hours already and I'm not even completely done rendering Ruki in b/w. I'll post an update on it later.

I started working on the next painting in my Vox Aeterna series. Here's the armor concept that I chose for Ruki. He uses Art Nouveau elements in his designs a lot which also mix well with fantasy armor (*cough* LotR)

Two finished paintings and three silly sketches. Eenie meenie miney mo. Ruki is next. Yeah I have no idea how I'm going to make them connect seamlessly. I'll worry about it as soon as I start painting Kai or Reita😬

I will never get tired of painting the GazettE's members. They give me so much inspiration and I love capturing their aura in my art. Uruha has a majestic aura....as if he's some kind of royalty.
