Payment processors like Visa are lying. Many people receive identical emails from processors, claiming they aren't doing what they are actually doing.
I'd really appreciate it if icons from my childhood stopped dying. Thanks in advance.

I want a social network to let me to be able to like 'likes' on things I post. #CatholicGuilt

Ben Wang is exceptionally adept at Jackie Chan's fight choreography style, and their brief 'fight' is a highlight, but once again American photography and editing let the choreography down.
Karate Kid Legends is surprisingly charming. The first hour where the protagonist, Li Fong ,trains a pizza shop owner (portrayed wonderfully by Joshua Jackson) for a boxing match is the highlight. Paradoxically the karate tournament is where things stop working. 3/4

What a sorry state of affairs... 💀
Martin Scorsese doesn’t watch movies in public movie theaters anymore. Peter Travers says Scorsese told him that audiences talk and go on their phones too much during films now. (via: worldofreel.com/blog/2025/6/1/…)
Cubs could go all the way, but my baseball highlight would still be watching my nephew hit a walk-off single, with two outs, in extra innings, this weekend.
People are complaining about the new end of #LiloAndStitch but it felt realistic and fine to me. The only things I didn't like had to do with changes to Jumba's arc (though Billy Magnussen and Zach Galifianakis are perfect on screen together) and no Ving Rhames!

I was skeptical, but #LiloAndStitch (2025) is kind of great. Faithful to the spirit of the original, but with enough of a twist to make it its own film. I worried that a live action 'Lilo' wouldn't work, but Maia Kealoha was absolutely splendid. 3.5/4

Wake up Start watching baseball Nap Cubs still going (6-3 bottom of the 7th) It's summertime baby :)

Been cutting a wonderful short film the last couple of weeks and the director and I have spent a significant amount of time discussing Paul Thomas Anderson films and now I really, really, want to see Magnolia on 35mm again.
Artists hate this stuff, and I get it. I do. But truthfully, this evokes a nostalgia that goes really beyond the original photo and I can't say I feel that is a bad thing.
