Brink is happy to announce that Niklas Gögge (@dergoegge) joined our grant committee! With his experience focused on Bitcoin security and finding, fixing, and disclosing vulnerabilities across projects and his fuzz testing work, we are excited for his expertise on the committee!
Eric Voskuil (@evoskuil) joined Bitcoin engineers to discuss architectural and performance differences between libbitcoin and Bitcoin Core: - libbitcoin’s history/latest updates - libbitcoin architecture - Initial block download (IBD) performance - IBD workflow - SwiftSync - Q&A
Bitcoin continues to grow thanks to a global network of brilliant, open-source developers. We’re proud to support @bitcoinbrink and the open-source contributors powering Bitcoin, through the Mezo Market.

👷♂️ Who keeps Bitcoin running 24/7? 🧠 It’s open-source developers — real people writing real code to make Bitcoin better every day. That’s why BitMart just donated $10,000 to @BitcoinBrink, a nonprofit focused on funding the engineers who maintain Bitcoin’s core software and…
1/ If you care about bitcoin’s future, you should care about those who maintain its foundation. Few do this better than @bitcoinbrink—supporting Bitcoin Core devs working on protocol stability, privacy, and security. 🧵
Unchained will match grants 1:1 made to partner organizations who support Bitcoin Core development when made through the Unchained-powered bitcoin DAF, up to 1 BTC.
After years of contributing to Bitcoin nights and weekends, Sebastian Falbesoner (@theStack) has left his job to focus 100% of his time on Bitcoin open source development.
Brink just received our first donation from a Bitcoin Donor-Advised Fund. The donation was in BTC and made using a multisig onchain transaction. This donation was made through @unchained’s Bitcoin DAF and will be held in our reserves to fund Bitcoin development into the future.
Support @bitcoinbrink and their mission to strengthen the #bitcoin protocol and network through fundamental research and development. @bitschmidty
Great to see Eugene start full time on Core. For those who don't know him Eugene previously contributed security research. He reported multiple issues, including a high-severity vulnerability.
We are excited to announce that Eugene Siegel has joined Brink as an open source engineer working on fuzz testing and Bitcoin Core development!
With a background as a security engineer working on Lightning and already disclosing multiple Bitcoin Core security vulnerabilities, we're excited for Eugene to help ensure the long-term security, resilience & decentralization of Bitcoin. Welcome Eugene! brink.dev/blog/2025/04/0…
