One more bat deep team. I can never get behind not picking your best wicket taking options in a test match.
Was reading Harmison's report on the Manchester pitch. It has been pretty flat in county this year and spinners have averaged better than pacers. Ideally, I'd like to bring in Kuldeep but given that we are playing both Bumrah and Siraj in this test and NKR is injured, you know…
0/10 take, but 10/10 insult
KL Rahul is such a pathetic wicketkeeper, almost cost us the match with his 2G-level keeping skills.
Just realised that Karun Nair (born on December 6) is OUT and Anshul Kamboj (born on December 6) is IN Meanwhile, Bumrah (born on December 6) and Jadeja (born on December 6) are already IN This relevant/irrelevant info is brought to you by me (born on December 6) 😝 #INDvENG
Shardul over Kuldeep is beyond baffling. Even if the team management prefer batting depth, the inclusion of Kamboj makes Thakur's theoretical value with the bat even more unnecessary. Kamboj and Kuldeep offer enough with the bat anyway. Prioritize BOWLING ability at # 8 please.
Here's #TeamIndia's Playing XI for the Fourth Test 🙌 Anshul Kamboj makes his Debut 👏👏 Updates ▶️ bit.ly/ENGvIND-4thTES… #ENGvIND
No team has EVER won at Manchester after opting to bowl first. Can Bazballian strategy outwit centuries of cricket, or did the Oval just become a relevant Test again?

Watching the English batters flounder, you have to give credit to Mandhana and Rawal. They navigated a pitch with the most swing this series (2 degree v 1.4 average in the first 2 ODIs acc. to a broadcast graphic) without letting the run rate drop. Made it look easy.
Brilliant by @_hypocaust this. Could be the reason for England's loss this year.

I guess that's what the best version of this Indian lineup looks like. Now to see if their makeshift bowling attack can step up

Everyone talks about England disrespecting the WTC, the other countries, xyz - I'd say that they're disrespecting their own red ball fans. English fans are so spectacular that the WTC final will be in England for the first 6 editions - and the team take that support for granted.
"Is it exasperating to find out you've been docked a couple of WTC points for slow over rate?" Harry Brook: "That's news to me." This, a day after your country has been confirmed to host the next three Finals 🤦♂️ youtube.com/watch?v=0OdD8s…
This is barely a hot take, but Twitter makes interactions so weird. If someone said this to me in person at a stadium/bar I'd make fun of their team and we'd be best friends in about 15 minutes. On the Internet, you have to keep reminding yourself its just a joke. Weird.
Do have sympathy for injury-hit India's struggles to balance their XI this week, but if I were them I would just simply not have lost the Test where I had a XII.
This is a cool explanation of the proliferation of smaller leagues beyond just the normal concept of gamblers like gambling. No idea if it's true though
If Indian sport has to grow, the broken broadcasting model has to be sorted. Today, bizarrely enough, the smaller cricket leagues and other sports are subsidising Indian international cricket, the IPL and big ticket ICC & ACC events Let me explain. The rights fees for the likes…
