Won’t be able to make it to #wcasia this year :( Have been in hospital w/ Guillain-Barré syndrome for 3 weeks with probably another 2 or so go before I can walk again (with a frame initially!) Full recovery expected, just learning to walk all over again..
I still use TripIt for travel management but flighty has been a great addition, if nothing else for the visualisations!
I don't buy the idea that some kind of board or committee replacing @photomatt is in WordPress' best interest. Rather, accept WP is a Matt/Automattic project, get over the petty squabbles and refocus in 2025 on building with a world class CMS. benmay.org/2024/12/27/mat…
Hanlon's Razon: Never attribute to malice that which can be explained by ignorance. What it means is that the world isn't out to get you. When something happens (bad or wrong), it's not always happening with intention. Most people don't even have you in mind.
