One of the best use cases for zk credentials is kyc
Are you scared of KYC/AML? You’re not alone. Endless forms. Photo uploads. Centralized data leaks. Every time you onboard, you give away sensitive info — again. But what if… - You KYC once - Your data stays on your phone - You onboard anywhere, instantly Watch how it works👇
Speaking of onchain* what’s the actual difference between onchain and offchain? - many independent operators need to be hacked for the service to violate its promises - measurably high cost of carrying out such an attack One basic promise is that money won’t be stolen from you…
On-chain.⛓️
Espresso is actually much more than this. It’s a complete base layer for L2s that could power the entirety of Web3, which is fundamentally about securing communication between web apps. Rollups need fast finality and high throughput. More critical than Eth bridge long term.
Espresso is versatile. While L2s can use Espresso to decentralize sequencing, they don't need to... L2s can keep their centralized sequencers & still benefit from Espresso's fast, secure confirmations. @benafisch explains how in this clip from @therollupco captured by @Lhoriee_
Espresso is not a shared sequencer ❌ So, what is it? 🤷♀️ CEO @benafisch explains what Espresso is in 50 seconds. Watch 👇
Should your CLOB run on its own chain? An existing chain? Or simply exist cross-chain, with contracts deployed on each supported chain? Depends what you want people to use it for. For asset swaps & composing w/ other apps? Go cross-chain Just betting on prices? Its own chain.
We're building foundational infrastructure for the future internet—where thousands of chains work together seamlessly. Today we celebrate the pioneering teams who helped make this vision a reality, and will receive strategic token allocations for their contributions.
Accepted to COLM 2025!
Hi ho! New work: arxiv.org/pdf/2503.14481 With amazing collabs @jacobeisenstein @jdjdhekchbdjd @adamjfisch @ddua17 @fantinehuot @mlapata @vicky_zayats Some things are easier to learn in a social setting. We show agents can learn to faithfully express their beliefs (along... 1/3
Ton of respect for @MattFiebach and Entropy Advisors and everything they've been doing to help Arbitrum!
A year ago, Entropy was just 2 guys with a pitch deck. Now, we’re 8 full-time operators exclusively focused on Arbitrum, and we’ve quietly become one of the Arbitrum's most trusted, strategic arms. You might’ve missed it. Here’s the proof of work.
They wanted to be a landlord not a tenant. And this is why the L2 paradigm will beat the monolithic L1 paradigm. It is closer to the way web apps are run today. x.com/benafisch/stat…
Robinhood didn’t launch on Solana because they didn’t want to leak MEV to validators. They wanted to be a landlord, not a tenant.
Espresso, Celestia, and Ethereum L1 R&D initiatives all working towards next generation base layers for L2s. Healthy competition 🤝. Let’s build base layers that are actually designed for L2s.
the beauty of DA hate being at all time highs is that competition is at all time lows all the fast followers like Near have moved on even Ethereum is pivoting to focus on L1 execution the opportunity to be the security and interoperability layer of web3 is wide open Celestia

EthCC takeaways: - What AJ said - What Andy said - What binji said - Blackboards are back in style - The birds in Cannes aren’t real - Appchain thesis is real
On my way home from ETHCC and some high level takeaways: - Cannes way exceeded my expectations despite the heat. @jdetychey and team did a great job organizing. - Robinhood stole the show. Everywhere I went it was THE topic of conversation. I don’t think it was just the…
And this sums up my thread on how L2s are becoming a new paradigm for Web3, which L1s serve (by providing DA + finality). L2s are not parasitic to L1s that are designed for L2s.
L2s are only parasitic to L1s that seek to be execution layers
the @EspressoSys run almost made me experience my own fast finality fr
Pretty sure this was the first ascent of El Capitan in an Espresso t-shirt. Dear crypto twitter, what other wild places has @EspressSys swag made it to?
