tried to rage bait my mom by telling her i’m skipping class today to read and she said “that’s great, make yourself happy baby”??? anyway, now i’m actually skipping class to read
fun fact: i had to deactivate my last booktwt account almost exactly when it hit 3k because i got a hit tweet bashing colleen hoover and it got shared to booktok and people were NAWT happy with me ajsjsj (literally discovered it on my own fyp too)
OMG WAIT THERES 3000 OF YOU!! that’s so crazy!! giving you all a (consensual) kiss on the forehead 💞💞💞

got scared for a bit there and thought i was outgrowing YA so soon, turns out “i hope this doesn’t find you” was just ass

people, especially lesbians, who don’t want to read sapphic books baffle me. i’ve read 40 books this year, 31 of which were sapphic 😭😭
trying to read other books after finishing a book you really loved is like being at a buffet and picking at your food, because why does nothing sound nearly as good rn
“She knew me then, at the beginning of ourselves, and she knew me now, here at the end, when she did not even know herself.” shut up. i’m gonna cry.

one of my favorite things about tlt is how sick everyone’s names are, eg: dulcinea septimus, harrowhark nonagesimus, coronabeth tridentarius, palamedes sextus!! hello?? muir ate a thousand times over
YIPEEE did not expect that but i’m glad nonetheless
I just got result 'Gideon Nav' on quiz 'Locked in the Tomb (Character Personality Test)'. What will you get? uquiz.com/quiz/hvCxLy/lo… via @uquiz Wow I didn't think i was this much Gideon.
i can’t write proper reviews because i really can’t put all my emotions into words. maybe that’s a tad dramatic because they’re not perfect and you have to suspend your disbelief a bit, but it was such a beautiful story and it really stuck with me, i can’t recommend it enough

was this book unrealistic and flawed in some areas? yes. but i ate this bitch up. also, did you know that women were having sex with strap-ons as far back as 1023?? i didn’t, til this book prompted me to read an article on the history of strap-ons
starting a good book means you eventually have to finish a good book and i don’t think that sits right with me
