Always thinking about music, always got a song stuck in my head. I post stuff so I can talk about it with fellow music geeks. Use Twitter for music and films.
#BigBeatlesBlether Well that’s the Blether over folks. I don’t think I really grasped what an undertaking it would be when I started it. “Write about 240 Beatles songs? Why not?” Little did I know when I started it that each day it would grow and grow till eventually I was

"Our peak for playing live was in Hamburg. At the time, we weren't famous and people came to see us simply because of our music and the atmosphere we created. We got very tight as a band in those clubs” -George Harrison

Bruno Koschmider, owner of the Indra Club and the Kaiserkeller. Gave the Beatles their break in Hamburg. When they moved to rival the Top Ten Club he grassed George Harrison up for being under age and he was deported. The fun was over for the 17 year old kid, but not for long.

Just re-watched Five Easy Pieces. What a film and what a tremendous performance by Jack Nicholson. Actors like him, and his peers, they’re just gone now. The likes of Jack had a way of being larger than life and yet totally natural. I don’t think there’s been anyone like that for…
