Hubble caught 20-30 Myr old planet V1298 Tau b in mid-evolution. Currently Jupiter-sized, its metal-poor, haze-free atmosphere is depleted in methane, suggesting a hot interior. It will likely become a (sub-)Neptune. @barat_saugata, @jmdesert et al.: nature.com/articles/s4155…
