I've written up how I approach "agentic engineering" for real-world codebases & tasks. TL;DR: Treat LLMs like shitty computers you program with natural language, not chatbots you beg for code. mariozechner.at/posts/2025-01-…
C is esoteric now. Guess I can just lie down and die now.
Software engineers who don’t find LLMs for coding useful either 1. Used it a >2mos ago and formed an opinion, before Claude Code 2. Program in an esoteric language or framework, including low level systems / C 3. Work on large preexisting codebases

Shout-out to @hjanuschka for adding tmux and zellij multiplexer support! Coming soon in a new beta near you! github.com/amantus-ai/vib…
Are you a Claude Code builder? Are you in London? Hit me up. Thinking of organizing a meetup.
Trying this live-stream thing. Watch me scream at TUIs while (not) building a guitar tuner with Claude Code. youtube.com/watch?v=0YsGtK… Say "Hi" in chat.
How are things going with subagents? I’ve not found them useful; simple context priming seems more effective.
wow sub agents are so bad, the entire UI becomes unusable and your queued messages just ignored
And now I added the exact same analysis to the frontend, so I can understand why the needle jumps around like crazy at times with actual real world data. Again, would have taken me more than 10 minutes to do by hand. TL;DR: use Claude Code to generate debugging tools. It's good
Claude really excels at creating quick data analysis and visualization tools. This would have taken me a day to build. Now it takes not even 5 minutes. Super useful.
Was looking for a one-off email by a person showing interest in a project of mine. Email might be in one of many email accounts. Queried Claude Code via my Gmail MCP and Gemini inside of Gmail. Claude Code nailed it. Gmail shat the bed hard. How is Google so bad at basics?

Built-in mic on this M1 Max 2021 MBP always behaves like this when coming back from "deep sleep" due to drained battery. Anyone got any idea how to fix it, save for a reboot?
Love how every generation rediscovers old truths the hard way.
while agreeing, wouldn't i just beat that company by hiring two devs
Anyone tried this? I can think of a bunch of use cases this could be useful for. But I can also see a bunch if issues with it (no pause/resume). github.com/debugmcp/mcp-d…
It's 3am, I made the FFT size a power of two, added Cooley-Tukey as an option and now I'm very fucking sad ... It's interesting that WASM doesn't really help much for this.
