Yea it was quite the detour and twist for the 3rd novel compared to the other two dark adventures, but also the most logical conclusion compared to the conspiracy and dark fantasy packed in the series. Logically scary real with corruption of law yet deserving ruling.

"And he is self destruction." This line kind of gives me the same vibes as Meursault from "The Stranger" by Albert Camus post his life 'happening'. Could you provide some more information on how the protagonist evolves from being in jail/on trial? I imagine he goes way darker.
