#50GemsFriday. This is Appuldurcombe House, on the Isle of Wight. Built in 1702, but sadly now just an empty shell (thanks to the German Luftwaffe blowing out the windows and causing a partial collapse of the roof in 1943!), it was an illustrious (and scandalous!) past.
