VICTORY! The biggest housing CEQA reform ever just passed the Legislature! Many thought we were chasing at windmills when Asm. @BuffyWicks introduced AB 609, a clean CEQA exemption for infill housing. Today, we showed them that CA can and will end its housing shortage!

People think California is 'full'. We could fit a billion people and still be less dense than Paris. And that's just on existing developed land. We are so far from the limits.
If California had 1 billion people, and they all lived only on the urban and suburban land already populated today, it’d still be less dense than Paris. There’s SO much room for growth and abundance. We are nowhere near running out of space.
