I didn't expect to wake up today and find my little flash piece about rich people being terrible on a shortlist, but I am definitely squealing about it. 🤗🥳✨So many incredible writers and stories on this list, and big thanks to judge @LunchOnTuesday for your sweet comments.

Absolutely STOKED my silly, not-at-all-inspired-by-actual-events (👀) tale of a serial plant murderer landed on the Highly Commended list for Egg+Frog Inspirathlon! And shoutout to judge @LunchOnTuesday whose kind comments had my heart all warm and fuzzy. 🥰 💕✨

I almost never start writing until I have at least a vague sense of an ending in mind, but I woke up with a very weird idea and no clue where it's ultimately going. This should be a fun/harrowing experiment.
