Delighted to have attended with @nkele_manaka @FarleyLabour Bilena Shama festival, which showcased the rich cultural heritage of Eritrea through its diverse traditions. The festival emphasised the importance of cultural exchange through the universal languages of music and dance.

It is deeply saddening to hear of the passing of Mick Lyons, a towering figure in the Leeds Labour and trade union movement. Mick’s legacy will live on, but his absence will be deeply felt. My deepest condolences to Cllr @debracoupar and their wonderful family. RIP comrade!
