Apple's default lighting direction for liquid glass is set to top left (-45°) and it conflicts with my preferred (and !Boring default) top right (45°) which is less common but, I think, a superior default. In traditional graphic design the aim is often to create "dynamic"…
Make beautiful things… even if nobody cares.
More people should create things to proliferate an aesthetic into our future, not just to solve problems. This is the quality that every artist and engineer I respect shares most universally. Without this, you are doomed to churning out slop.
