"Here comes Ensing! Can he make this go Bye Bye Bye?" CLAYTON OH MY GOD HAHAHAHAHAHAHA 😭😭😭😭😭 WITTIEST COMMENTATOR FRRRRR
I found the thread of my fav hq music school hcs hahahahahha sUCH beautiful wonderful artful fun times
Everytime I think of hq music school shenanigans my brain goes to the fuckin park Imagine percussion major Bokuto who is tasked with both pounding the infamous Mahler hammer (it took lots of practice to hit it just right w/o breaking the wood block) and playing the triangle
Suddenly missing my music school au very much bc someone def did this
Any instrument can be percussion if you drop it from high enough
HERE IT IS HAHAHAHA
Sakuatsu music school au I will never give this up Sakusa is a violinist and Atsumu is a cellist and their final semester project is Brahms' Double Concerto for Violin and Cello in prep for Sakusa's grad school admission into Europe wahaaaahaha
I’m tired of packing I just wanna sit down and write Ash and Eiji smooching
Following the updated translation of Yuki’s interview, this means that when Eiro said Kento “never complains,” he IS genuinely grateful for Kento and his teammates - not making a dig at Yuki bc Yuki hasn’t talked to him yet. This fiasco really exposed who needs to get blocked
[Detailed report] Eiro Motoki on his connection with Yuki Ishikawa and playing against USA Q: There were some moments where the sets to Yūki Ishikawa didn’t connect. Yeah, especially on far, long sets — he tends to want a jump set, and I think we’re still not quite in sync…
“I'm planning to talk to him (Eiro) about it and let him know l'd prefer a jump toss in that case.” -Yuki So it is something Yuki would want to talk with Eiro after that game. It’s not like Yuki said it and Eiro didn’t listen 🥺 Hope this clarification to Yuki’s interview would…
そういえば、友達と話してある文の意味について相談しました 「彼にはジャンプトスをしてほしいというのは伝えますけど」っていう文は英語で “I'm planning to talk to him (Eiro) about it and let him know l'd prefer a jump toss in that case.”という意味です つまり石川は永露にまだ伝えません
As someone who has been speaking Japanese for around 14 years now, I think this translation is better! It’s closer to the meaning of Yuki’s original words while also conveying the correct tone, i.e., not stand-offish nor combative, not a “call out”, just that he will tell Eiro 🤗
This is the translation we came up with and agreed on together. We think that Yuki is not someone who blames others or say such things to the media. He takes responsibility for his team as a captain and his comment is from an analytical view.
