You don't need postmortems on this election, we had ample premorterm: Ruy Teixeira warning about this in books and @TheLibPatriot in considerable depth. For considerable time. He got drummed out of Democratic polite company for his troubles. @eduwonk I've highlighted the…
Great player, remarkable career, and important impact off the field around mental health that will pay dividends over time.
Daniel Bard embraced a leadership role in advocating for Player rights early in his career, and later showed courage and commitment in raising awareness of the importance of mental health in baseball and the sports world. Congratulations on your retirement and all the best in the…
Buckle up! So says @arotherham on this episode of The Report Card. And wow is he right... Agree or disagree with them in terms of ideology, @natmalkus, @rickhess99, & @arotherham are straight shooters and the podcast is super informative. aei.org/podcast/educat…
This post is updated to reflect the just announced release of about 20% of the money. The larger issues are all still in play. Thank you for your attention to this matter!

This podcast on ed reform's "lost decade" is one of the best I've heard in a while. It also got me thinking: @rpondiscio was warning about this exactly ten years ago (links below) and was lucky to make it out unscathed. He should be taking well-deserved victory laps.

Pat Williams was a serious policymaker who had the unique ability to insert comedy and fun into serious issues. He was somebody I greatly admired who served our great state for his entire life. Sharla and I send our love to the Williams family.
Wasn't @RedSox X ready to DFA Trevor Story a few weeks ago?
