The Quintain took a vastly different tack in the Lyran production run, removing the Jump Jets, swapping the Sword for the more favored Hatchet and a mostly energy based arsenal. While radically more expensive, this fast, tough brawler is a real threat at close range.

Worked on this all morning, and I'm letting myself get frustrated. Am I just too impatient for this kind of art?

I have finally worked up the Red Action answer to the Battletech Docking Collar question. Come and see the Venture-class Jumpship! x.com/ardan_blade/st…
Introducing the Venture-class Jumpship, Battletech Red Action's original Dropship Carrier. Prior to the invention of the K-F Boom, externally mounting Dropships was thought to be impossible. This would change with the development of the Dropship Clamp.
So it was always meant to be, so it shall be. Ending the FedCom was a mistake the Battletech writersnever should have made. Red Action is coming, the Federated Commonwealth restored is coming with it. We’re taking back our galaxy!
Welp, here's your (probably unsurprising) results from the one-off FedCom poll. I suppose the Federated Suns remains the more popular side of said alliance.
Goodnight all, and may the light of a new dawn welcome you after your rest.

Let it be known that the Federated Commonwealth stands! For the vision of my Father and Mother! Let us be one!
Everyone keeps talking about the FedCom war after the factions tournament, so here ya go. A one-off poll to see which one of these reigns supreme to the fandom. Get to voting!
My fiancee is a big fan of biscuits and gravy, so we grabbed some Burgerville this morning. I have to say it was underwhelming. The biscuit (only one) was a worse version of McDonald's biscuits, and the gravy tasted watered down. It was expensive too. Would not recommend.
"You would hate Toph if she had been written today" - is a sentiment that attempts to gaslight the pushback against modern Mary Sues and politically biased writing as blind hatred rather than a reasonable position. That our current distaste for the current year cringe would be…
Perhaps the most insidious of the Quintain variants, the Liao model was not designed to serve the Capellan military, but to terrorize its citizens. Oft painted in FedCom colors, these Mechs would be deployed into restless areas to "remind" the locals of their hated foe.

Last one for tonight. The Periphery variant of the Quintain would prove to be even cheaper than the Trainer. Loaded up with single shot Rocket Launchers and a primitive Rifle, this configuration is a great way to bring firepower on a low budget.
