Yaffa the Lesbian Witch
@archaicf0ssil
the triumphs and defeats, the epic highs and lows of television
Made an edit that I think describes me as a person
I spent the entirety of my family dinner explaining the plot of Riverdale to them because I'm fucking insane
It is ridiculously hard finding anything that portrays the experience of growing up in an orthodox jewish environment well
question for whoever sees: are there any aspects of yourself you feel have never been properly represented in media? doesn’t matter what it is, just a trait of yourself you have never seen
It's really funny how Riverdale truly references everything you could ever think of so in season 6 they were like well guess it's time to recreate the bible
I've lost count of the amount of times they bring Jason back in some way at this point

Betty Cooper has to be one of the most tragic characters on television because what do you MEAN she's the only one out of her friend group that is banished from heaven...
I would've been pissed as hell if I was a massive Chilling Adventures of Sabrina fan and had to watch her kiss Cole Sprouse
It's so fun whenever Riverdale uses the classic comic outfits, I'm glad they did this with Sabrina too

Man fuck Archie they should be dating each other instead

I really admire Riverdale's ability to escalate each character's archetype, Archie goes from being the town hero to jesus christ himself and Betty goes from being the girl next door with a dark side to the literal whore of babylon
Having your ex be the one to officiate your wedding is crazy. Cheryl can truly do anything, I guess becoming ordained is part of being a witch somehow.

Since Riverdale wouldn't do it I edited The Prince of Egypt music in myself
Riverdale should've played songs from The Prince of Egypt during the ten plagues episode of Riverdale because I think that would've been really funny

Going to the movies by yourself is a great hobby when you live in the middle of nowhere and don't know anyone (like me)
how life feels once you start going to the movie theater by yourself
It's very funny to me that dedicated Riverdale fans do a much better job at doing serious discussions and analysis compared to a lot of fans of shows that are considered prestige
You guys do not know what male gaze means
henry cavill’s superman is so violently sculpted for the male gaze it physically hurts to look at
Riverdale is obsessed with always giving Betty a homoerotic subplot like her homoerotic enemies subplot with Donna Sweett and her lesbian X-files subplot with Agent Drake
