End of a 19 month drought Deal with the death been bought Determination back on field sought A special player in our thought A fatal mistake one does realise Awareness lacked one could criticise Questions about future do agonise For ambitions did tantalize #RishabhPant
A lot of people are saying you can't play 3 spinners without thinking about whether it's actually true, it's being treated like an axiom. India's marginal spinner is a lot better than their marginal pacer, England are worse against spin than pace, and two of India's spinners bat.
also, it made sure Ashwin and jadeja could do their job as they can bowl well even on good batting surfaces but opposition spinners cannot. something GG in NZ series did wrong, making Santner and Phillips dangerous on big turners
Gambhir single handedly responsible for a potential 4-1 rubbing here. This bunch of players are 10x better than what we had in 2013-14 times. He would have committed su!cide if he was managing what Dhoni had to.
Hey, @grok, who were the 5 most famous person to visit my profile? It doesn't need to be a mutual, don't tag them, just say who it was
This is 100% true.
I love Indian veg food, but best vegetarian food on the planet, objectively, is Korean vegetarian. Vegetables aren't cooked to mush, hidden in fried starch. There's a wider variety of flavors textures. Use of ferns & other plants. India has best starchitarian food for sure.
Yeah, this is a list spanning 20 years and more than two eras. For a demonstration of that KP didn’t face half the bowlers in this list. That’s like making a lots for today and including Anderson, Broad, Steyn, Johnson, Swann, Herath etc etc.
Don’t shout at me but batting these days is way easier than 20/25 years ago! Probably twice as hard back then! Waqar, Shoaib, Akram, Mushtaq, Kumble, Srinath, Harbhajan, Donald, Pollock, Klusener, Gough, McGrath, Lee, Warne, Gillespie, Bond, Vettori, Cairns, Vaas, Murali,…
We don't talk enough about how good Dravid & Rohit were in the series. I remember criticizing Rohit after the first Test but he really did well post that as a captain & they were also brave & smart with their choice of pitches. A team performance through & through.
Thank god Gambhir wasn't coach when bazballers travelled India for Test series. who knows India would have lost a home series even before NZ.
I clearly remember Bhuvneshwar Kumar bowling at 117 kph in the 2014 tour but still he was a decent prospect until he got injured in 2018.
I won't blame Bumrah for any of this, It was obvious in the aftermath of BGT, His interview with DK was as crystal clear as it can get about what can happen if He pushes his body & he doesn't want to let go of tests at 31, sad, but anyway target Garner's tally.
cant believe an australian based journo is saying this...
Regardless of where he fits in the larger scheme of things, Joe Root is surely the best Test batter in the world since his debut in 2012 #EngvInd
When fit, opponents can’t take 100 runs off him When unfit, he can’t bowl enough to concede 100. Fairs
Dravid ✅ Kallis ✅ Ponting ✅ All surpassed in one innings! 🤯 Only Sachin Tendulkar remains ahead of Joe Root, the second-highest Test run-scorer of all time ✨
