Bono had a huge personality and gave voice to “THOSE” people often ignored. He was witty w words that packed a punch- but full of compassion fighting for the little guy. I’m Very sad to hear of this loss. My thoughts to his family🙏 torontosun.com/opinion/column…
I loved working with Bono, true character and an old school communicator and journalist. My family and I respected him so much. The world was richer for his enormous contributions.

Love your comeback story. Can be inspirational to a lot of people going through a rough time.
I almost died by suicide fifteen years ago while battling depression. If the expansion of MAID coming into force in 2027 were in place then, I'd likely be dead right now. Today, I'm launching the #IGotBetter campaign to keep hope alive for people living with mental illness.
Looking for some more context of Canada's housing crisis? How about $750/mo to rent a bed in a literal closet?
That our true Toronto municipal opposition leaders such as @Roman_Baber and @anthonyfurey aren't even councillors is a scathing indictment of the current City Council
ROMAN THE GLADIATOR: Tory MP, vowing to battle planned shelter, challenges city council: 'Stand up to this mayor!' Check out our front page for Monday, July 21, 2025. More from @sunjustinholmes here: torontosun.com/news/local-new…
Here in Toronto, the City is stealthily turning many shelters into drug sites - many of them near kids’ facilities, and not only will it turn the area into a hotbed of criminality - like in Leslieville - but it creates the sorts of second hand harms this story describes.

.@Roman_Baber, the Conservative MP for York Centre, has only been in office for a couple of months but is already standing up for the residents of Toronto more than some city councillors!! Thank you for your hard work Roman!

It's been two years since we lost Richard Bilkszto. He was a tireless advocate for education that included ALL students. He believed deeply in a school system based on excellence and merit. He would be very happy to see students, parents and community members taking back…

How lucky are you to have worked with him and Christie Blatchford. I enjoyed their take on thing. RIP
The loony left claims to care about racial minority voices but an overwhelming group of racial minorities in Willowdale also opposed shelters due to drugs. I guess our voices matter until we are no longer useful diversity tokens. 👏 to @Roman_Baber and @anthonyfurey for this.
After my encounter with @gordperks inside Toronto City Hall, I went out to Nathan Phillips Square for a press conference. Just like Perks, the vicious Left do not believe in free speech for anyone who disagrees with them. We will not be intimidated. Watch.
Today I was proud to stand alongside Toronto grassroots community groups calling for a more common sense approach to how City Hall manages shelters, drug sites and more. These voices represent the silent majority!!

Yes.
Some of these tents you see in parks are actually drug drop spots.
Yes! We won’t back down!!
Wish I could of made it, keep it up
Happening today!! We know radicals are planning to disrupt it, but we will not be deterred in advocating for a safer, more liveable city for all Toronto families!!
I’m looking forward to participating in tomorrow’s important press conference that brings together community voices who stand for common sense change at Toronto City Hall!!

Well done, @anthonyfurey and @gregbradyx. This is a wicked, wicked problem compounded by the fact that the OCT tells teachers they’re not allowed to speak out about the problems. I’ve been speaking out/writing about this for the past 11 years. I’m very happy that people…
For the past couple of years, many Toronto parents have shared their concerns with me about our declining public school system. Here’s what I said on radio about my support for the province replacing trustees with appointed supervisors:
