I created Nuxt after being inspired by @rauchg article when he first released Next.js back in 2016. I am truly excited to join his team at @vercel and start open sourcing all of work in the following month 🤍

@antfu7 & @shuding_ is the collab we deserve

The main reason I am optimistic about the Vercel / Nuxt acquisition is how they have treated Svelte since acquiring it. If they do the same for Nuxt (which they claimed they will and I believe they will) then I think it’s a net positive for Vue and Nuxt users.

Btw @voidzerodev’s contract with @nuxtlabs is still in effect through the acquisition so @antfu7 will still be working on Vite Devtools :)
