Really interesting development with Yoane Wissa this afternoon. Heavily linked with #NUFC - and would have a big impact on Eddie Howe’s squad with his versatility, work rate and goal output. If there’s a deal to be done, it’d be a good deal.

Reports from @David_Ornstein that #SAFC have an agreement in place with Granit Xhaka to join the club. Vast Premier League experience, plenty to offer at 32, a Bundesliga winner, w/leadership skills & the durability to play majority of season. This’d be a statement signing.

Sunderland confirm Romaine Mundle has undergone surgery on his hamstring and will be out for the foreseeable future. Not the preparation anyone wanted to see for a player who could make a big difference in the Premier League - but hopefully a swift recovery! #SAFC

It’s beyond wonderful to be back home. I suddenly have a wardrobe that fits me again! The challenge now is to continue to get fitter and recover well. I’ve lost a lot of lean weight so I’ll be working on that over the coming months. I doubt there will be running involved.
