Question for the community: our first release of the marketplace won’t have any auto-pricing or suggested pricing for work items. Should we add this, so that each work item has a suggested price and the buyer can get a sense of pricing right away? Or is it better to wait a few…
Since we won’t charge marketplace fees, we can enable this. No need to lock manufacturers in and that ironically enables us to support long term contracts and life time relationships. At the end of the day, our product is trust.

I don’t want to “Uberize” manufacturing. That is a race to the bottom and exactly what Xometry does… What is different about Noramark is that your shop’s personality is front and center and you own your long-term relationships.

Awesome post! We are working on adding a second dimension to the Noramark Score... capability. We don't want to see SMBs "on the phone" to work out their supply chain issues, we want to see them post their needs to Noramark via RFQ and get high trust responses in minutes.
