The British Right that liked to paint itself as pro-market never came up with a way to fully repudiate the bank bailouts nor any credible mechanism to avoid them happening again. That is a key reason - perhaps the single biggest reason - it's been replaced by the Populist Right.
For those of us who argued at the time that the bank bailouts & the regulatory response to them would be disastrous for growth, & have argued since then that they were being disastrous for growth, this is grimly gratifying. youtu.be/nmBe8NAMmbY?si…

That's because Americans in troll videos put it in the microwave with cold water, milk added & often sugar in there pre-microwave too. That concept is the purlieu of savages.
I can't put tea in the microwave without experiencing PTSD flashbacks of a YouTube video I saw once about superheated liquids and sugar. Absolutely not recommended. It's also gauche and American-coded to put tea in the microwave so I'd avoid it for that reason alone.
Give it a try. Tell me what you think. I didn't believe it either when I first heard about it.
I don’t like this. But I’m willing to give it a hearing, given it helps the tea remain hot and strong.
