Why do conservatives often criticize European integration and liberals promote it? What could make the subject of European integration less toxic? A timely topic after Polish elections. @VovkDmytro and yours truly explore this subject here degruyterbrill.com/document/doi/1…

Wonderful piece by the way
I wrote a short essay this morning on what the world needs from the Church. It’s called “Being There.” No hot takes on the Holy Father’s legacy or succession. Proud to kick off the @PublicDiscourse symposium on the Church going forward. Link in the post below.
Had fun recording a new Legal Spirits episode today with my friends @andreapincomlaw & Luca Vanoni. We discussed the annual International Moot Court Competition in Law & Religion--a great experience for law students and professors! Episode to drop soon. Stay tuned!
…which I liked a lot and strongly recommend. Thanks to one for writing and the other for sharing!
They would adopt it but because they don’t understand it
Good article, although I initially read it as supernatural law and got quite excited. I'm not surprised the civil law jurisdictions would adopt common law themes. It is a better system after all. 😆

Thanks to so many friends and their wisdom, my latest on the gap between common law and civil law is out. Should anyone need help to fall asleep! @DoubleAspect @pojanowski @dr_lbc @NickAroney @MaxSaintH Oran Doyle & AJ Bellia ir.lawnet.fordham.edu/ilj/vol48/iss2…
