#BREAKING: @IntegrityforUSA’s Charlottesville plaintiffs just won our lawsuit against the neo-Nazis, white supremacists, and hate groups responsible for the Unite the Right violence — securing huge financial judgments. (I am typing this through tears.)
A new detention site in the Florida Everglades is holding immigrants in sweltering, unsanitary, inhumane conditions. The Jewish community knows the dangers of dehumanization. This isn’t safety—it’s a moral failure.
With antisemitism rising & public education under attack, we welcome NEA’s vote to both reject a divisive resolution & reaffirm its commitment to academic freedom, association rights, and - most importantly - the safety of Jewish & all students & educators nea.org/about-nea/lead…
Tonight, NEA voted not to adopt NBI 39 (the ADL boycott). As we wrote earlier this week (⬇️), it’s possible to disagree with ADL without cutting off all engagement - which would undercut our shared goals of countering antisemitism and broader hate & bias. nea.org/about-nea/lead…
Read our full letter to the NEA expressing concerns about NBI 39 and reaffirming our commitment to working together to confront antisemitism and protect all students and educators: jewishpublicaffairs.org/press-release/…
Now Mamdani is getting attacked from the far left because he expressed empathy for the Jewish community’s fear, much like @AOC did after she hosted a webinar on antisemitism. If progressive leaders acknowledging antisemitism is somehow beyond the pale for you, ask yourself why.
More here from Mamdani’s appearance on @InsideCityHall with @errollouis tonight:
The extreme voices (on both ends of the spectrum) pitting Jews against teachers’ unions only make it easier for this admin to gut public education and our broader institutions & democracy. Division is their core tactic — to undermine the very coalitions we need to fight back.
By gutting the Department of Education & shuttering the Office of Civil Rights, which investigates and protects campus safety and civil rights, the administration is doing nothing less than abandoning Jewish - and all - students. Read our full statement: jewishpublicaffairs.org/press-release/…
The thing about antisemitism is that most of the time, it doesn’t actually look like a Nazi hacking Elmo’s twitter account.
Twitter is already a breeding ground for antisemitic hate—and now Elon Musk's AI chatbot is parroting the same vile rhetoric. When the world’s richest man enables and amplifies antisemitism, it fuels real-world hate and violence. cnbc.com/2025/07/08/elo…
I’m *shocked* that the guy who explicitly promotes antisemitic, white supremacist conspiracy theories has turned this into a full-out antisemitic hate site. (If you’re a public Jew on this site, your mentions tend to make that clear too.)
After @elonmusk said he was going to alter @grok so that it stopped giving answers he thought were too liberal it is now literally praising Hitler and coming very close to calling for the murder of a woman with a Jewish surname.
I can’t stop thinking about these girls and the absolute horror of this situation for this camp, their families, and all of TX. nbcnews.com/news/us-news/c…
Shylock is among the most quintessential antisemitic stereotypes. This is not an accident. It follows years in which Trump has normalized antisemitic tropes and conspiracy theories — and it’s deeply dangerous.
Trump describes certain bankers as "shylocks"
Truly morally bankrupt in every sense.
The House just passed the Senate’s morally bankrupt bill—gutting aid and funding mass detention. As it heads to the president’s desk, we’ll keep fighting for a just, compassionate future.
The Senate just passed a bill that dramatically slashes food, housing, and healthcare support, while funding mass detention and draconian anti-immigrant policies. Democracy is strongest when we protect the vulnerable and uphold human rights. This bill does the opposite.
We extend our deepest condolences to Karen Diamond’s loved ones and the Boulder community. May her memory be a blessing, and may we honor her by continuing the fight against antisemitism and hate in all its forms.
SCOTUS’s ruling in Mahmoud v. Taylor sets a dangerous precedent. Inclusive education is essential to a safe, democratic society—and this decision risks sidelining, stigmatizing, or erasing LGBTQ+ students from the classroom.
