Doctor, advocate, and problem-solver. Running for Governor to fight for Ohioans who are struggling and give power back to the people. It’s time for a change.
Starting today, I’m launching a four-day, 15-stop listening tour across Ohio. Across the state, I’m meeting with families, teachers, and local leaders to hear what’s working—and what’s not. Because the best ideas come from the people living them.
Incredibly saddened by today’s shooting in Lorain. My heart is with the officers, their families, and the entire community. I know Ohioans will come together to support the first responders that keep us safe during this difficult time. bit.ly/4mdarxO
Growing up in Youngstown, I saw what it means to keep going when everything feels stacked against you. That resilience is in me—and in the people I’ll fight for as your governor.
Being tested doesn’t rattle me—it reminds me why I serve. When challenges come, Ohio needs a governor who meets them with clarity, compassion, and conviction.
Last weekend I was honored to speak with folks in Defiance County & Geauga County. Day after day that I'm out on the trail traveling around the state I'm always amazed at how many inspiring people continue to turn out to fight for a better future for Ohio.

Vivek’s campaign is fueled by Wall Street. Mine is fueled by people who’ve had enough of being left behind. That’s the difference—and that’s the choice facing Ohioans.
I know what it’s like to grow up without much. That’s what drives me—to make sure no one is left behind. This race isn’t about politics. It’s about people.
@amyactonoh Dr. Amy Acton- thank you so much for sharing your plans to support Ohioans as Governor!! #ohio #governor #dems @GeaugaDems @geaugamapleleaf
"Truth, justice, and a better tomorrow" started right here in Ohio. Proud to see Superman return home—and to see Cleveland’s skyline and spirit shine on screen. This is a celebration of our history, creativity, and heart.
It's a bird, it's a plane, it's the new Superman movie filmed in Ohio. Facts to know beaconjournal.com/story/entertai…
I grew up in Youngstown, raised in 18 homes and even a tent—so I know what it means when Ohioans say times are tough. I’m running because everyone deserves a shot—no matter where they start.
When Ohio lawmakers pass laws like SB 1, it’s not just classrooms that feel the impact—it’s our future. Now out-of-state schools are offering our students what we should be: freedom, opportunity, and belonging. We can—and must—do better for Ohio’s next generation.
The ads are a clear jab at Ohio’s Senate Bill 1, which was designed to rein in professors at public colleges and universities and bans diversity, equity and inclusion, among dozens of other requirements. cleveland.com/open/2025/07/t…
Vivek Ramaswamy parachuted into Ohio politics with a checkbook and a spotlight. I’ve spent my life here—serving, solving, and showing up. This isn’t a game. It’s people’s lives.
When a mom has to drive an hour to find a pediatrician—or a teacher buys supplies out of pocket—we’ve failed. Ohio deserves better. And as governor, I won’t wait to deliver it.
This Fourth of July, let’s remember freedom comes from caring for each other—through strong communities, quality schools, and economic opportunity. That’s the spirit I’d bring to the Governor’s Office.
Among the many things wrong with the state budget are the continued attacks on public education, teachers and retirees. Just a travesty, and something I will stand up to as Governor.
Ohio’s nursing homes are already stretched thin. The Republican tax bill threatens to gut Medicaid funding & push over 40 Ohio facilities to the brink of closure. This isn’t abstract policy—it’s a direct hit to our seniors, our nurses, and our caregivers. bit.ly/4kmt4hx
What a way to close out the month and EOQ! Two great events in Cincinnati full of people who are longing for something different. They want a leader who solves problems instead of creating them.

From attacks on health care, education and libraries, to the disenfranchisement of retired and active teachers in directing their own pension, to giveaways to Ohio’s wealthiest, the state budget is a nightmare for everyday Ohioans.
