This goes beyond hearing—it's about my entire well-being. Without my hearing aids, I'm battling severe exhaustion, chronic migraines, intense anxiety, and profound mental fatigue. The effort to navigate an inaccessible world is wearing down my body.

The lack of hearing aids makes it harder to process sound, even if I get help later. Without sound stimulation, my brain struggles to interpret it, risking long-term cognitive decline, memory problems, and a higher chance of dementia.

Conversations are like puzzles I struggle to solve, leaving me exhausted and burnt out. Without my hearing aids, I'm shutting down, and the longer this continues, the greater the risk of permanent cochlear nerve damage.

For nearly a month, financial struggles have left me without my hearing aids, and it's taking a toll. I've learned to lip-read and use visual cues, but without my aids, every interaction demands exhausting mental effort.
