Just spent an incredible 4 days at @BiophysicalSoc Beyond Simple Models: The Consequences of Membrane Complexity in Living Systems. My mind is absolutely blown, and I can’t wait to put the knowledge and new connections to use in future research endeavours!

We're in Copenhagen this week for Beyond Simple Models: The Consequences of Membrane Complexity in Living Systems. Here are some scenes from our poster sessions so far! @Co_Biologists
I had my BSc graduation ceremony yesterday 😊. Thankful for the family + friends + mentors who made it possible, and excited for all the science to come (first up: honours with Dan Furkert)!

On my way home from an incredible week at the Biophysical Society Molecular Biophysics of Membranes conference, where I presented my computational work for a really exciting project with Oleg Glebov, and was one of four recipients of an Outstanding Poster Award.

Ta-da! Behold my paper describing a new mechanism for action of (almost) all antidepressants. It's membrane trafficking, and it can bring stuff into the brain. Now, can this help bring new fancy Alzheimer's drugs into the brain?.. <TBC, subject to £££> nature.com/articles/s4138…
