Recently, we kicked off a region-wide study on interim housing with @TernerHousing and stakeholders during the Bay Area Interim Housing Convening. The study will run through February 2026, focusing on emergency shelter and transitional housing. Updates to come!
Homelessness is more dynamic than people realize. What's driving the problem is the high rate of people ENTERING homelessness. That's why prevention is so important. Learn more and see stats for the #BayArea and each county in our recent data spotlight. allhomeca.org/2025/06/04/dat…

We’re encouraged to see housing investments in the state budget. But let’s be clear: $0 for homelessness programs this year puts lives at risk. Tell @GavinNewsom @ilike_mike @CASpeakerRivas to fund #HHAP in 2025–26 and beyond: bit.ly/HHAP-2025 #CABudget
Major milestone 🚨The proposal to create a unified California Housing and Homelessness Agency in CA was approved by the Little Hoover Commission this week! CHHA would make our housing systems more efficient & productive. Next, the proposal will be reviewed by the Legislature.
#AB699 is headed to the Assembly Floor this week! It increases transparency on local ballot measures to help fund schools, infrastructure, and housing @stefani4CA @CASpeakerRivas
Harnessing the power of storytelling is key to advancing disability-forward housing solutions and imagining a more inclusive future. We can’t wait to share our stories with you!
We're midway through our 2nd Stories of Home cohort, with workshops done and 6 amazing orgs about to start filming powerful stories of housing justice in action. Proud to lead this work with @NPHANC and support from Mere Fenton and @cb_smithdahl @ktieche. Hope @BeginsWithHome 🫶
Building & preserving affordable homes is key to solving homelessness. In CA, #AB736 will place a 10B bond on the ballot, clearing the way to build 35k+ new affordable units & preserving 13k+ existing units. Thank you @BuffyWicks for your leadership in pushing this bill forward.

We’re on the right path to solve homelessness, but the proposed #CAbudget could knock us completely off track if we don’t act now. Without HHAP funding, homelessness could get a lot worse. Tell #CAleg to protect proven solutions. bit.ly/HHAP-2025

The May Revise is out. While we appreciate the Governor’s support for a housing bond, the #CABudget still includes no new dollars for critical housing and homelessness programs. Read our coalition letter & join the urgent call for reinvestment: housingca.info/May2025-Budget (1/5)
