Heart hurts for EM today. I understand that the onus of proof was not met. That doesn’t make her story untrue. She was put through the wringer with the victim blaming during the trial. I fear it will deter other SA victims from coming forward in future.
a woman has to give perfect, consistent details of the most traumatic moment of her life with no room for error and even then it usually still isn’t enough. while men can lie through their teeth and change their story multiple times over and still be believed over the victim.

New criteria for emergency backup goaltenders (EBUGs) has been introduced in the new CBA. Teams will also be required to submit a designated EBUG 48 hours before the start of season, and 24 hours before a game 🥅 (h/t @wyshynski)
