Palestine Action supporters and pro-Palestine protestors tried to shut me up in Parliament Square today. They failed miserably. There is an irony that they are protesting their free speech being taken away while protesting against our free speech.
Funny that police never seem to complain about the multi-millions spent on people protesting foreign wars on British streets, but complain when they have to police genuine local protests.
Essex Police say the cost of policing protests over the last week at a hotel in Epping thought to be housing asylum seekers has gone above £100,000, "money we would much rather spend on continuing to cut crime across Essex and keeping our neighbourhoods safe."

Greece has just passed new laws. If you are an illegal migrant, you can go straight to prison for 5 years or be given a ticket home. They’ve already started deporting hundreds of them. Why can’t (or won’t) our govt do the same?

This is total crime. Government figures indicate that over 2.2 million violent or sexual crimes were reported across 2023/24, marking one of the WORST years on record. Reports of assault, GBH, murder, rape, and sexual assault have tripled in the last decade.
