Good news on the Diabetic front today. My A1c is going the right direction. More than two years since my LADA diagnosis I’m still not insulin dependent. Perhaps all that running and football ⚽️ fun in Switzerland 🇨🇭 helped. That healing Red Wall! My medical support is brilliant.

A lovely thing happened today which pleased me enormously. The church I preached at (not this one) asked if I would preach there in 2028. We agreed the dates in faith 😇

Decided that after returning home from Switzerland I would carry on enjoying the Euros to the full. Ultimately, every team except one will go through that sense of disappointment. But, the football I’m seeing isn’t disappointing. Football has been the winner in this tournament.

That night there was a little Gareth Bale and a great deal of Wayne Hennessey. Diolch Wayne @cymru would not have gone through that night without your many saves.

I spent the first 15 years of my life with a ban on women playing football ⚽️ What a waste! ⁦For that reason, I have no @cymru childhood football heroines. My generation missed out. This generation now has many of them. So do I.
