I tried a different orientation with Sidney and Mainland Diesel's eyes farther away from their noses, a la Bachmann. Mainland Diesel looks better, but Sidney looks the worst because she looks more alien than when seen from the front.
I tried moving the eyes away from the nose like Paxton, but I think Sidney looks scarier. Honestly, I think this is a bigger problem than the CG Duncan design, and I don't understand why they didn't officially reply. I'll still edit my face if Sidney and Mainland Diesel appear.
My crackhead theory about the new Trackmaster Duck is that he was designed by the old team and everyone else was made by the new team and my reasoning boils down to Duck, following the older design philosophy instead of the newer one, and it makes him stand out in a jarring way.
I’m gonna take some better photos later and go through the whole production history of this guy, but for right now I’m just basking in the fact that he’s here.
*Percy's Promise number is 10, omfg lol When Stanley realizes Thomas isn't a bad engine, but a sad engine, James can be seen present at a water tower. Unknown if the promo still was apart of that scene that got cut, or just simply for an unused shot.

After years of working on this in secret he's finally real! Great job to @The_lbsc_thomas and @TheLilWestern on this guy, I just helped out with details and such.
I think the frustrating thing about TAB is that it had the potential to finally be a flawless Thomas film. The film did a lot of things right, the pacing, the animation, most of the characters. However, they decided to make Henry a scaredy-cat, which drags the film down.
