I had the honour of receiving Amb Nebil Mahdi , the outgoing Ethiopian amb, to South Sudan. During his tensure, Amb Nebil, advanced South Sudan- Ethiopia, bilateral relations, especially in the area of capacity building and scholarships.

I received Amb .Berhanu Kebede, Chief of Staff of ( RJMEC) this morning and had candid discussions on the current political situation in the country and RJMEC,s role . I first met Amb Kebede in the UK in 2012 during his tensur as Ethiopian Ambassador.

President Salva Kiir hosted a high-level delegation of the African Union (AU) and the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (#IGAD) to discuss the implementation of the Revitalised Agreement on the Resolution of the Conflict in the Republic of South Sudan (#RARCSS).
