Summer League for Rob Dillingham was a chance to prove to the Wolves that he is the answer at point guard. While he had moments of greatness he also displayed the same weakness’ that may keep him out of the rotation again. Read what that means below: zonecoverage.com/2025/timberwol…
Napheesa Collier on mentoring Angel Reese “It’s like I want you to develop but maybe not against us(smiling) no it’s great, I feel like that is what it’s about. Like paying it forward, especially helping the younger generation to develop and get better”
Napheesa Collier on the growth of Angel Reese’s game “I think (in) her ability to go from the wing to the three point line and attacking. She’s a really strong player, she’s developing her handle she’s developing her shot… she’s kind of taking people off the bounce a little bit…
No Natisha Hiedeman on the injury report. *wipes brow *whew #LynxRecognize

Do you remember when Patrick Beverly said he hated his situation in Minnesota and he’ll get out on Russillo’s pod and with Arenas in 2023? This is just going to every year for the rest of his career regardless of what he says… *sigh, NBA in July is fun
I’m old enough to remember two years ago, when Anthony Edwards had a few good games in FIBA, the 48-hour NARRATIVE became Minnesota wasn’t gonna be a big enough market for him. Set your watch by those kind of takes when the NBA content calendar gets slow from mid-July to Oct.

Kayla McBride on her favorite StudBudz all star moment “Oh gosh, there’s so many, honestly my favorite part about the whole thing was everybody got to see what we see every single day in the locker room, and just the expose and the smiles they put on everybody’s faces, the joy”

Napheesa Collier and Kayla McBride on Diamond Miller going 8/8 from the free throw line, and if she is now the designated technical free throw shooter “She’ll have to go through me first”-Collier laughing “Absolutely not” McBride completely serious
Kayla McBride on her advice to Bridget Carleton on shooting slumps “We talk about it a lot, I think it’s more so her getting back to having fun with it. I think we put so much pressure on as professional athletes and when you play at a high level, and your not playing at the…
Cheryl Reeve on Alanna Smiths ability to be successful against larger centers “She’s a competitor, she does not like to lose on a battle of a catch on the block. That sort of relentlessness that she had makes her really hard to play against” #LynxRecognize
Cheryl Reeve on if their was a talk with Napheesa Collier having she went scoreless in the first quarter “I remember complaining to her, your best players got to be your best player. Your best players got to score. I think she recognized it… she gets it… I’m glade she made a…
Cheryl Reeve on the Lynx energy in their first game back from the allstar break “You don’t know what it’s going to look like when you have three(4) players at all star and all the stories of how much sleep we didn’t get, there was good conditioning, I think you saw that on some…
Cheryl Reeve gives an update on Natisha Hiedeman “She said the same thing she says to everything “I’ll be fine coach”… so I don’t(know the severity) so I’ll listen to the trainer when he shares” #LynxRecognize
Well as official as official gets, Natisha Hiedeman with a left ankle injury. She hasn’t stood up from the bench since she got there, but encouraging that she at least walked back out on her own

Tee is back on the bench. Trainer is working on her, but she walked back out on her own.
End of 3 70-50 #lynx lead It looked like Natisha Hiedeman got crushed on the last play, got up very gingerly, and walked off with a towel over her head assisted by trainers. No replay was shown but honestly she was moving like someone with a back or hip injury.
