Helping an injured opponent on the field isn't spirit of the cricket it's a fundamental virtue. The issue occurs when you base that as the spirit of cricket and equate with a gross extrapolation that things within the laws of the game should be overridden for social posturing. BS

I was told it's fine celebrating wins at home but God forbid someone celebrates drawing and keeping yourself alive in a series batting 2 days being 2 down for nothing and short a full batter. I don't know precisely how the grapes taste, but they defo aren't sweet.
